I think it would be best to stay with our original plan and feed once a day every day. I'm thinking of startiung them with about 2-3 pds. a day for 10-12 days and then increasing to where they will be on about 5 pds. a day and see how they do. Any suggestions negative or positive is welcome.

Shouldn't hurt a thing. Just make sure the continue to get plenty of long stem roughage whether grazing or hay or some kind.
