Stocker cattle are weaned calves usally 500-600lbs. But can be much lighter.Feeder cattle are cattle placed in feed yards to be finished for slaughter about 800lbs.Cattle ready for slaughter are about 1100lbs. Live cattle is a commodity term used by people who trade in cattle futures. Im sure this will be corrected by some armchair expert but this is pretty much accurate in terms common folk can understand.<p>
