Cows get into trouble

Had a heifer I had to get in the chute today. Where she found this piece of pcv and how she got stepped into it just right.





Gave her antibiotics and sprayed and flushed hoof. She's already walking better. Still don't know where she found it or how she stepped on it.

wow... I bet you couldn't put a piece of it out there for them to deliberately step into and have it work!

hopefully she heals up fine.

Looks like its been on a while. Lucky you got a photo, kind of one of those things you need to see to believe! I reckon in a few weeks you wont be able to pick what foot it was on.

You could try a thousand time to do something like that, cattle can do it on the first try..they beat all I ever seen at coming up with new ways, to find trouble..

Had one about 20 years ago do the exact same thing with an old toilet flange. Don't ask me where it came from. Wasn't my farm. But I didn't get a picture. I was looking at it and didnt believe it!
