red angus cross, I think she's about 13 years old now, one of the most docile creatures you can find, though she doesn't lack character

A cold Gelbvieh heifer lookin for a handout. Not a great picture but my favorite heifer. It was too cold to get fancy with the picture takin today.

We named her when she was just a weaned heifer. When she grew up, I realized that "Petunia" was most appropriate, i.e.
Petunia Pig was Porky Pig's girlfriend! Actually she is not fat in the photo---that rear end is muscle.

Here she is at the end of a really good grazing season...a little fat(see the fat pads around her tailhead and
under the tail):

But here she is with a newborn calf....the rear end is still there but no fat around the tailhead:
