I just got back from Elko, Nevada and the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering. If any of you get a chance to go I highly recommend it. We had a great time. Well, other than today. I am getting too old for 11 hours of pounding hard down the highway. But Thursday and Friday were great. We got to listen to some great poets and some absolutely hilarious interaction between them while on stage. CP once told me that he had a neighbor in California who was involved there. I can't remember the name he told but if it is John Dofflemeyer(sp), he was a great poet one of the funniest people people I have had the pleasure of listening to.
