Cowboy killed at the sale barn

Yesterday at the sale they announced that one of the cowboys,Ralph Green 73 yrs old was killed when he was thrown from his horse while working cattle Monday at the sale. Sad story and he was a good guy. But I must say that's a much better way to go than cancer or many other ways.

We just never know when our time might come. Prayer for his family.

Yes, prayers for the family. But I have told my wife and kids, "if I get killed on the farm, regardless the circumstances, I died doing what I love".

It's really bad but at least we went out doing what he liked under his own terms and with his boots on.
Seen to many of those larger than life guys go the other way and that's no good.
