I have two heifers that have growths on the face and head. Another farmer told me
that they are worts and are harmless and could be removed through cutting or pouring
kerosene on them. any help would be great.

If they are warts, they will go away when the animal gets an immunity. To speed the process make one bleed. Squeeze it with pliers or rake it with a claw hammer. Don't pour kerosene on animals.
Jason Trowbridge
Southern Angus Farms
Alberta Canada

we had a show heifer grow some UGLY warts about 30 years ago. After a few vet visits, my granddad told me to pour Castor Oil on the, it cures anything.....so I did, they were gone in a week. I figure the warts had run their course, but it seemed funny that we worked on those warts for several months, and nothing....until the castor oil remedy was used.
