I have a cow that her first calf was weaned off her 3 months ago. About a week ago she developed a limp in one of her front legs/feet. I started watching her, assuming she had stepped in a hole or something. There is no swelling of the legs/feet/joints etc. A few days later it seemed both were sore because she moved slower. She is in a pasture a good ways for the barn with other cattle and difficult to take her to the working pen, so I fed her CTC in feed in the hopes this would take care of the problem. This morning she is really moving slow as if all joints are sore. Any ideas what the problem could be? I'm fairly new at this,, is there a cattle disease diagnostic software available to help with my education? Thanks Don

Walking slow and painful?
Hunched up?
Elbows 'out, and 'crossing over' when she places her front feet?
Seeing any or all of those, I'm thinking 'hardware'. Give her a magnet.
