Cow With Long Toe

I have a good Beefmaster X Chorl. cow that raises a dandy calf each year that has two long toes that don't seem to be bothering her yet.Can they be trimed by a vet with out having any problems after words are do I need to go a head and sale her?

>Her hooves are long? yes, they can be trimmed down, I would contact your local vet, if you are inexperienced with this. Its fairly simple, we use a metal type rope thing with handles (designed for cutting hooves) for ends, (Help- someone, dont know how to dscribe it!!!!), thats the only way I can describe it, and you kinda saw back and forth on the hoof. But you need to know how far back you can go. No, you wouldnt need to sell her for this reason.
