Hello
We have 50 cow dairy farm in India and had an issue with foot problem.
We have one cow with foot problem, I believe the term is interdigital dermitatis. There is a growth between the foot claw. Almost 1/2" thick and almost touches the ground.
We tried to remove by cutting it, but could not remove completely and it keeps growing back.
And on top of that, maggots keep appearing inside the gaps on either side of the growth.
I am not able to find solution for this problem, please advise.
I tried to attach pictures but dont know how from my computer.
Please help.

Thanks
Nikhil

Usually the foot is packed in tetracylene powder and wrapped and left until the wrap falls off. There are dozens of treatments. Search internet for "hairy heelwart". If it's in the front of the foot between the toes it could also be a corn

My bull has what dun is talking about. I showed it to the vet. He called it what dun did. Say he would not do anything until it causes a problem. My question to dun, can it spread?

Not that I'm aware of, it's not like HHW which is contagious in a big way
