One Of my cows is stringing small amounts of bright red blood from her vulva. She is suppose to be bred but I'm not sure what date. Last week she was running and jumping like a yearling playing, then Saturday she was bawling all morning .I thouht she might have been in labor then but she settled down in afternoon. Yesterday (Tuesday) she started this light stringing of blood. Someone tell me your take on this. She has never quit eating all this time. Sorry this is so wordy but wated to get point accross. Thanks

How sure are you that she is pregnant? A few days after the cow has been in heat you will frequently see bleeding. The Bawling and then the blood would sure make me think she's not bred unless she has other signs of impending calving. Hard to tell without actually seeing the cow.
