All taken with cell phone so quality isn't great and it was simply just snapping pictures while putting out mineral.
Young set of cows, first calvers mostly some 3 and 4 year olds.

They just come like that when you bring mineral? Some of those mamma cows have that " lean mean cow machine look!". Gives me some hope!

They come when we call them up. Holler SA BOSS and they come running. Lot easier to work them with a bucket than a horse.

Nice cows and pasture! The "heavily treed" pasture is nice and open compared to my area. HAHA
We are in a constant battle with cedar trees. Enough hours cutting and burning you can get them under control but it takes a long time to reclaim something that has gotten as bad as that pasture has.

The pasture looks good to me
I have heard power pellets kills cedar and I have used them but I sold the place before it had enough time to work so I have no first hand experience, but I learned the hard way spike 20p doesn't
I sure like that country and had the perfect opportunity to stay and take root but I ran back to Texas the first chance I had, been kicking myself ever since.
Good looking cows too
