My 4 year old cow appears to be dying. She is eating good, no diarrhea. Had problems with footrot all summer. She is loosing weight quickly. Could the problem with footrot be the problem. She gets it every year, but not the rest of the herd. HELP

If a "good" large animal vet has checked her out I don't know what else could be done. Maybe have another vet check her out, one that works with the local dairys would be a good bet. If your first vet didn't want to spend the time working with you to try and resolve this, I'ld suggest another vet anyway. The cost of have a rendering plant pick up a dead cow is about twice the cost of a vet visit.
