Headache very minimal. Extra strength Tylenol keeping it in check, nausea not a big problem have loss of appetite . Loose stool more than normal. Low grade fever topped our at 100, last checked 98.8. Experiencing being hot for a while and then chill will set in. Not to bad but we are cuddled up in a blanket then and to get rid of it. Back and forth between long pajamas and short ones. Energy levels really low as well as blood pressure. Minimal congestion. Allergy meds took care of that, been off them for several days. J&J vaccine back in March gave no symptoms. Now where did I get it….wife had to have a COVID test Wednesday a week ago for bilateral carpel tunnel surgery ob Monday. Test was negative so surgery went forward. She had a bit of upset stomach come Monday afternoon so the administered meds during surgery to help that. Carpel tunnel surgery was a HUGE success…so far. She has been able to sleep all night instead of a few minutes at a time. She came home without any pain, even from surgery. Her congestion and cough worsened Tuesday night but was still able to sleep. Wednesday afternoon is when I started to feel it so I’m about 3 days behind her. Finally found some over the counter rapid tests Friday afternoon and we both tested positive. She seems to have lost some smell…maybe just because of increased congestion. All in all it hasn’t been bad. Only problem is we have exposed a number of people, including hospital staff. I’m sorry for that to a point. Had they tested her again Monday an postponed surgery…..she’s been dealing with excruciating pain for months on end… she started trying to get relief since March. Pretty much totally disgusted with our medical system we now have. Her surgeon exrayed her neck and found a couple calcium deposits….he referred her to another specialist the 3rd week of July. Earliest appointment to see this doctor’s PA is October 16. Just unreal. Took 40 years but we now have Canada’s healthcare system of the 80’s but still pay out the whazoo for it. Sorry for the spellcheck errors…just don’t feel like fixing all of them🙄
