Don't spin what I said - I was asked if I was an American, I clarified I'm a Texan first as it relates to my earthly allegiance/nationality. Nevertheless I'm very proud to be both a Texan and an American.

I see boat loads of refugees headed our way, lots of job losses either to technology or business who can't afford $15 a hour, who knows with this BS college he has proposed to get the young peoples vote (maybe the end of any valve of what a college education is and college enrollment going down hill ), green energy, what little we have left that is any good will be pure junk, turn the criminals out and take power away from the law, add billions more to the Medicare cost. The list goes on and on.

All that is bad news for sure. The sad part is that even with that platform, the majority of people voted for him. Sad if they thought those were good ideas for the country. I don't think those people are the majority, maybe close - but not the majority. I suspect that the group that caused him to win the election is those middle of the road folks who could no longer endure the stupid statements from Trump in the last year, and his hateful speech. I agree with many/most of his actions during the 4 years. However this year, his Covid press conferences mostly consisted of bragging on his actions and trying to destroy anyone who had an alternate view. The presence of Covid and the impact of Covid are not Trump's fault. There were too many unknowns of this new virus to say that anyone should have known what to do. There were bound to be different opinions based on the little information available. That is OK. I don't place the blame for Covid or the deaths from Covid on anyone. Things happen. I believe if Trump had stayed off TV and kept his mouth shut, he might have won. The issue is not his politics, but his personality. Many people vote on personality over platform. Now, here we are with this new crew taking over. I voted for Trump in 2016 and 2020 because he was the best of the two candidates in my opinion. Now that is very sad. I did not vote for him in the primary. Let's hope Joe stays healthy for 4 years. It could get worse. Just my opinion.

My thoughts exactly. Trump was his own worst enemy. I don't know if there was ever a person I disliked more than Trump, and I still voted for him. But I know many others that just didn't want someone with no integrity as president, despite agreeing with his policies.

Sleeze personified and her agenda makes Biden look like a hard core conservative.
