by my math 800-70lbs for birth weight is 730lbs divide that by ten mouths is 73lbs per month 73/30= 2.4lbs per day.

You are figuring his WPDA, weight per day of age and not his ADG, average daily gain, which Jovid was talking about.

yall seem to be having a hard time with this...

what was figured by ion was pretty close for ADG. WDA doesnt use birth weight.

the only way this bull has been gaining 4-5 lbs/day is over a short amount of time. if he gained 4lb/day for 10 months, he would weigh 1270 lbs (70+10*30*4) and his WDA would be 4.23 (1270/300).

as it stands, with the info given, this bull's ADG is 2.43 lb/day (800-70)/(10*30)and his WDA is 2.67 lb/day (800/(300*10))
