cotten seed

Want this rooms opinion, Cotten seed, alot of farmers here feed it in the south, the cows love it and only eat so much and thats it, Alabama here, alot of cotten LOL. What is everyones thoughts on feeding cotten seed.

Lotsa fat. Good for cows with sucking calves. Just don't feed too much of it.

A little goes a long ways.

I have been feeding it since day after christmas, started them slow then went to free choice, I stopped a few days ago after reading up on it an have rationed them according to what is recommended.
