- Is $4 where your area is at?
- How much of a discount is reasonable for a back haul?

Depending on schedule, distance and a short down time loading... perhaps a $1 discount to $3 on the back haul?

No idea what you're looking at buying but most commodity brokers will quote a delivered price based on location and have trucking companies contracted to do hauling for them.

By product is "free" from some locations but trucking is not.
