hello all. I wantto start a corriente cattle ranch in mid Arkansas. I have a great pasture and lots of desire and questions Do corrientes have any problems that are common to the breed? Do they calve easy or have problems? Whey can I buy cows near hear?

I cannot help you much with the Corriente cattle, but a lot of people in this area use Longhorn cows to cross with a Corriente bull. They make good roping stock. The Longhorns have NO calving problems, and will produce calves for you well into their late teens and sometimes past 20's.
