I believe it is important to tell the truth. I made an honest mistake. I stated in several posts that the 205 day weight of my new bull, FGR Nevin Hudson N4, was 740 pounds. While talking to the AHA today with EPD questions, I learned that that was his 188 day weight. He was weaned at 188 days. His adjusted 205 day weight is 803 pounds. I will correct the posts when I have time.

You probably won't ever have time, Willow. You'll probably be too busy totin' feed to him to maintain his dependency.

That performance was with no creep. I know the people, and they are as honest as the day is long. Through the winter months, he gets to dig in with the cows- just about three pounds of 20% breeder cubes per day for him. My hay has been less than excellent as well.

Going to be one big boy when he matures. I am curious though? What size of cow was he out of? I'd guess about 1300 to 1400 pounds? What do you expect his mature weight to be? I'd guess about 1800 to 2200 pounds.

You'd probably be right on all counts. I do have a half sister to his dam, and she maintains around 1,200#, and is a 6 frame.
