Had a neighbor who is a big farmer who gave me all of his corn screenings (dried) this fall. All in all i have about 18 ton of these. This is very good material as there was a small hole in the screen that let a little whole corn get through. I was wondering about buying some bigger feeder steers (700-800#) and feeding out and hopefully be able to sell early fall. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I am feeding corn screenings right now, just feed them like any other concentrate, paying attention to protein, and percentage of forage in the diet and adjust accordingly. My screenings tested out at 7.5% Crude protein on a Dry matter basis.

i have been buying bagged corn screenings from a local mill for a couple of years.
I treat it like corn and feed it like corn.
