which is best for fattening a steer for slaughter?

Corn is my choice since it takes no preparation and is very easy to source and store! Milo would need to be ground before use if I remember correctly.

It will work but still prefer corn. I'd think steam rolled milo would cost you a premium and only has about 90% of the feed value of corn.
