I always heard it helped to bury a dead chicken in your container and it would very soon have all kinds of "bacteria and such" percolating about in it.
(as opposed to burying a live one)

(Of course, I heard the same thing from the man that installed my aerobic waste water system. "Throw an old dead chicken, feathers and all into the solids tank and it will be working perfect in no time" )

I "reactivate" the decomp cycle in my compost piles every year with the leavings of my squirrels and rabbits and such.

I think I will stick with the enzyme stuff you flush down the toilet.

You will have the exact same results by lighting your money on fire and flushing the ashes. Or saving both time and money and let the natural occurring bacteria do their thing.

Similar to opinion of county drain field, septic system inspector telling me years ago about the flushable enzyme stuff.
