Connealy United

Any thoughts on Connealy United? He is a three-quarters brother to Connealy Comrade. I saw some ultrasound results for the McKellar's and he seemed to do really well with marbling and Ribeye. He sold for $50,000 and had some high sellers.
He had a son sell at Connealy and I think he had a heifer sell for $14,000 at McKellar's. His epds for marbling and ribeye dropped when AAA switched to Single Step. I think if he were with a big-name semen company he would have been promoted more.

I bred about 30 heifers to him this spring. Crv was running a special on him 10$ a straw, so I thought I would give him a shot. Here is a quote from the salesman when I asked about him "he is the best heifer bull in the business" salesmen are always honest so I didn't figure I could go wrong. I will know just how good he is next year at thing time.
