Concrete pads for a silo

I have grain silo that needs a pad concrete pad under it. How thick does pad need to be it is going to be on expansive clay soil?

How big? Typically a feed bin needs 13" of concrete, but depends on size.

Are you talking bulk bin, grain bin, or silo?
All three have very different answers.
