My commercial herd have all calved but one (always a hanger-on somewhere). My #57 RA cow had a nice bull calf about 30 minutes ago. Now just one RA cow to go and the commercial herd will all be calved out. Should be a 20 day calving season. The tightest I have had. My registered cows will start calving late spring and into the fall. They are strung out that way. Running 60 / 40 bulls to heifers. I'll take that any day :D

How many and are they all from one bull?
3 were from A.I. and 22 from my herd bull. The bulk were born the 8th and 9th. Had 12 born in a 24 hr period.

Hoss did you AI the registered cattle? Sounds like you're having a run of "good luck" with the calving for now anyway. ;-)

Not too far from you red........Manchester area. I sell some over at Unionville's barn once in a while.

Congrats Hoss, I wish mine were even close to that short of a calving season. Hope your grass is coming on good.
