I've about decided on the following as my vaccination program now and going forward. Let me know what you think (too much, not enough, etc.). I plan on starting this after calving season is over, and about one month prior to turning in the bull.

Open cows

1) PregGuard Gold FP 10 ($1.51/cow). Booster in 4 weeks with Vibrio/Leptoferm-5 ($0.82/cow).
2) UltraChoice 8 with a booster in 4 weeks. ($1.09/cow for both doses)

Calves (two weeks to 3 months old)

1) CattleMaster 4 with a booster in 4 weeks ($3.74/hd for both treatments)
2) UltraChoice 8 with a booster in 4 weeks. ($1.09/hd for both doses)

This will cost me $3.42 for each cow and $4.83 for each calf.

I also plan on worming with Dectomax pour on at the same time.

Some questions I have are:

1) Is two weeks old to young to vaccinate a calf? What about the Dectomax pour-on?
2) What about the bull? This is a virgin bull on a closed herd. So I'm thinking two doses of CattleMaster 4 plus two doses of UltraChoice 8. But should I also be concerned with Vibrio/Lepto?

All comments will be appreciated.

None of the programs/products you have listed here address hardjo bovis- found to be very prevalent and a big reproductive theif-or a leukocyte derived pasteurella vaccine- with out that you really have no pasteurella immunity. Phizer, has the only two products that offer these Spirovac, and One Shot Ultra 8. They were the only two on the market last spring anyway. Ask your vet or local exstension beef specialist about thes two issues.

They are the same, I would check on the preg guard having hardjo included, I don't believe that it does but couldn't find that for sure.

I have been using Pfizer products for years now. I use BoviShield Gold FP5 +L5 (don't need Vib because we AI everything). Anyway, looking in a catalog, Preguard is about the same.
Calves
If Preg or BS is administered to the cows prior to breeding, you are safe to use the BoviShield Gold on the sucking calves (this is on label). BS is a MLV, and Cattlemaster is a form of MLV but requires two vaccinations and is much more expensive. Instead of UltraChoice 8, I would use OneShot Ultra (that is Pasturella + the clostridials) and than a UltraChoice 8 booster 4 weeks later - which you should also give a BRSV booster at that time (BoviShield BRSV).
BUT, I would not vaccinate the calves until they are 3 MONTHS old. Up til that point, they should have active immunity from their moms colostrum. So, 1 they don't NEED it, and 2 the immunities that they have will intervere with receiving immunities from the shots.
Cows:
And, once you have BOOSTERED your cows with Lepto they will not need booster shots afterwards. But I do recommend giving lepto in spring & fall. After vaccinating & boostering for clostridials, I wouldn't bother vaccinating cows again. We only vaccinate CALVES for the clostridials. But, that may be an area thing.
Dectomax is an excellend dewormer - both late spring & fall.
BULL
I would give your bull the Preg or BS VL5 with a booster of VL5
and the clostridials w/ booster.
Sounds like you are planning a great health program. Prevention is much cheaper than abortions or treatments.
