Cold weather on the way.

Its getting cold down here in Australia. Big dump of snow on the Australian Alps and in Tasmania. Bit earlier than usual. Nothing up our way yet. Another month might be a bit different. Some parts down south have had some rain. We need some in about 2 or 3 weeks. The cattle have been down off the hills today in the gullies out of the wind.

Gosh, hurts to hear that "winter" word! Seems like the one that just finally left us was way too long. Hope yours is not as harsh as ours. Hunker down and stay warm.

It was 92 degrees here yesterday. I'm glad winter has gone somewhere else besides here!

First noticeable frost in the district. None of the frost susceptible plants were touched in the garden.We have a fair few trees that shelter the garden as well as its a bit more windy where we live.It was very white in our town 10 minutes west of us. I've been on night duty. It was white on the roofs of houses and on parked cars. Wind has blown up again. Possibly be another frost about tomorrow morning.
