Did he ever use all the spark plugs?

My grandad had probly 50 new in packages. Over the years, I held onto em thinking I'd use em. Oh the insanity!
My dad would keep the old ones in the new plug boxes and when the truck would start misfiring, he would go through the old ones and pick the best looking one of the bunch, scrape the carbon off with his pocket knife and put it in. Was always one or 2 cylinders that burned more oil than the rest and would foul the plugs. Yeah he kept the old points too.

My dad always had a hope chest where he tossed all of the nuts, bolts, screws and washers he had stripped off broken stuff. His idea was when he needed something on a Sunday night and everything's closed, he "hoped" what he needed was in that chest. I still strip off all the hardware before throwing something away.

What kind of coffee do ya'll drink?
I have been drinking a coffee from Ethiopia roasted by a local roastery. I grind the bean myself. I don't seem to have heartburn near as much now since making the switch from Folgers. The only draw back is that now when I go out I can't hardly stand to drink the coffee in restaurants.

Good morning all. I had an odd thing happen this morning ....coffee related.

I have, on occasion, had strange little twitches in my hands and fingers, about once/month, and only early in the morning. Most noticeable at first, when using a fullsize computer keyboard. This morning tho, I poured a full cup of coffee in one of my bigger mugs, and as I was about to turn away from the coffee pot, the clutched fingers in my right hand suddenly released, and uncommanded, that hand dropped the whole cup of fresh hot coffee on the floor between my bare feet. Made a terrible mess, with about 1/2 of the coffee splashing up into the open area of the coffee stand that holds Mr Coffee and the Keurig on top, as well as several bottles of hard liqueur for guests down below. Lots went on the wall. Light colored latex paint, which doesn't clean off easily. Had to move everything out of the way, empty the little piece of furniture so I could lay it over and clean coffee from the underside and mop the whole area...all before I had my first cup of coffee. The only good thing was, the coffee mug didn't break, and.. my whole dining room now has that nice brewed coffee odor. (They should make coffee odor room deodorizers, like you plug in to the electric outlets)

I dunno what's going on with my hands, but it doesn't happen often. Had to correct several typing errors originally posting this because fingers still acting up, with a mind of their own, but so far, have been able to get 2 cups of coffee down without major mishap.

Hope yall's day started better!

Could be a nerve in your neck or maybe even your back.

Mr TC's hands and fingers freeze up and twitch occasionally. Primary care Dr said arthritis and put him on Celebrex (also for the arthritis in his hips). Didn't do squat so he's back to just taking either Aleve during the day (as needed) or Advil PM at night. Hope your situation is only temporary &/or can be figured out - and alleviated.

That said, I bought some coffee at a local store that is awesome. Death Alley Coffee made by Coffeyville Coffee Company (not too far from us). Oh, and the slogan has two crossed rifles with "Try That In A Small Town". You can check out their website at www.coffeyvillecoffee.com

You could always get a Stanley cup with a lid. Bahahahaha! Have ya'll seen the ridiculous Stanley cup trend? Grown women carrying then around like a sipping cups, even out at the grocery.
