I'm definitely going to watch the sale.
I have 2 heifers and 8 steers.
May just keep them heifers and breed em.
Heifer prices are terrible. Last ones I sold brought 1.45 and I was really pleased for 500 pound heifers. No so good right now tho
We are holding most of our heifers this year, at least for now might sell some as breds later if it looks more promising down the road.

We have several co-mingled sales here in East Texas. The NETBIO sales at Sulphur Springs Livestock Auction have been going on for more than 20 years. It attracts cattle from 43 Texas counties and cattle from Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. It does have health requirements. The cattle are brought in over several days and weighed soon after arrival (with a 2% pencil shrink) and sorted into pens based on sex, weight and quality.
