Clothes for hot weather

Help Support CattleToday:

Wrangler jeans and Dickie short sleeve button up dbl pocket work shirts in the summer. Cowboy boots or lace ups.
In the winter add long underwear and long sleeve shirts. Carhart sweatshirt and unlined bibs.

I bought some of those canvas type, stretchy, carhart jeans, from tsc. They come in a bunch of colors and I wanted to try them out first hunting. I've been wearing them to work in to kind of break them in. I can't decide if they are actually cooler or not. It may just be because they are new and not worn in real good yet.

They are very comfortable though.
I bought a pair of Ariat pants by accident a few weeks back but really like them. They're a stretchy material and have elastic in the waist. You can't tell the elastic is there without looking inside the waist. Really comfortable and cool but were pricey.

That sounds like what I wear now now. It's an ariat rebar flex. Very roomy and comfortable.

Well, can't be much worse than this old lady!! LOL
Actually, I hate wearing shorts out in fields of around the cows.
Throwback to my years living in Kansas and dealing with CHIGGERS!!!! My nightmare. They LOVED me & I react badly to all bug bites. To this day, when I feel grass touching my legs, I get a knot in my stomach.
Consider yourself lucky that you never got into turkey mites. Microscopic Satan himself.
