Clostridial vaccine at calving

If you're not having any clostridial related problems before the normal time you work calves then I don't see that it is necessary. I like to give the calves a shot of 7-way at birth. Otherwise I might lose a couple before branding time.

Vaccinating the pregnant cow annually precalving with CD or 7-way works, and as mentioned previously Scourguard.
