My ABS rep just told me how he synchro'd his cattle last year, and said he had a 79% AI breeding rate. After doing the typical CIDR implant synchro, and AI ing them, wait 19 days, put the same CIDR back in for 3 days, pull out and then heat detect. Ever heard of anyone doing this, or tried it your self? It makes me nervous putting a CIDR back in all of the cattle. But he said it won't hurt even if they got bred with the first AI. Also, with the extra work of running them all back thru the chute, and paying for more straws at $30 each, and the tech to arm again, plus a couple people to heat watch for 3 days, I don't know if it's worth the try. But the idea of more AI sired calves sounds good. Pro's and Con's list!

putting them in once, then breeding is spose to be enough, I wouldn't personally want to put them back in if she has a chance of being bred...
