Chocolate Greenish Colored Stool

Friend just asked about one of his 3 to 4 year old cows with a chocolate colored stool. Says it has a green tint to it and is thin. I get the green loose stool part because of the spring grasses, but never encountered the chocolate color. Any ideas?

We occasionally have multi colored "spring butt" but we also supplement with cubes and they have access to a 30% protein tub. Unless your friend is talking about dark chocolate, as opposed to milk chocolate, I wouldn't worry too much.

Failed to ask what else he was feeding, duh! Mine are on grass along with a 32% liquid feed and they all are running dark green. The chocolate color this time of year really threw me. Thanks!
