HEY TED !! Before you ask another leading question about the conduct of others in politics, and before you accuse another person in politics of being a liar, and before you get on a moral high horse and look down your born rich spoiled nose, at another member of the Bush administration.
TELL US WHAT REALLY HAPPENED WHEN YOU GOT KICKED OUT OF HARVARD, AND WHAT REALLY HAPPENED THE NIGHT YOU WERE TAKING MARY JO TO THE BEACH, AND WERE YOU REALLY THAT DRUNK IN 1991 THAT YOU DID NOT KNOW WHAT YOUR NEPHEW WAS DOING??
Answer all those questions First, then accuse others of being morally corrupt--- you should not even be in a position of power in politics and you would not be if it had not been for the family money that bought you your elections....
....
TIME TO SHOW THAT TED KENNEDY HAS LIED TO THE PEOPLE, HAS BEHAVED IN A MORALLY CORRUPT MANNER AND IS WHERE HE IS, NOT ON ABILITY , BUT ON FAMILY MONEY..
by Pat Norby,
When Sen. Ted Kennedy was merely just another Democrat bloviating on Capitol Hill on behalf of liberal causes, it was perhaps excusable to ignore his deplorable past.
But now that he's become Sen. John Kerry's leading campaign attack dog, positioning himself as Washington's leading arbiter of truth and integrity, the days for such indulgence are now over.
It's time for the GOP to stand up and remind America why Sen. Kerry's chief spokesman had to abandon his own presidential bid in 1980 - time to say the words Mary Jo Kopechne out loud.
As is often the case, Republicans have deluded themselves into thinking that most Americans already know the story of how this "Conscience of the Democratic Party" left Miss Kopechne behind to die in the waters underneath the Edgartown Bridge in July 1969, after a night of drinking and partying with the young blonde campaign worker.
But most Americans under 40 have never heard that story, or details of how Kennedy swam to safety, then tried to get his cousin Joe Garghan to say he was behind the wheel.
Those young voters don't know how Miss Kopechne, trapped inside Kennedy's Oldsmobile, gasped for air until she finally died, while the Democrats' leading Iraq war critic rushed back to his compound to formulate the best alibi he could think of.
Neither does Generation X know how Kennedy was thrown out of Harvard on his ear 15 years earlier - for paying a fellow student to take his Spanish final.
As they listen to the Democrats' "Liberal Lion" accuse President Bush of "telling lie after lie after lie" to get America to go to war in Iraq, young voters don't know about that notorious 1991 Easter weekend in Palm Beach, when Uncle Teddy rounded up his nephews for a night on the town, an evening that ended with one of them credibly accused of rape.
It's time for Republicans to state unabashedly that they will no longer "go along with the gag" when it comes to Uncle Ted's rants about deception and moral turpitude inside the Bush White House. And if the Republicans don't, let's do it ourselves by passing this forgotten disgrace around the Internet to wake up memories of what a fraud and fake Teddy really is.
The Democratic Party, not to mention Sen. John Kerry, should be ashamed to have the national disgrace from Massachusetts as their spokesman. And the GOP needs to say so out loud.
I remember all of this and I'm sure you do, too.

it is a shame people like myself are not able to hear such stories like this and how everything is now with most tv stations being pro democratic. at first when i started to follow politics at about 16 i thought i would have been a democrat because of what i heard and thought then i started to dig into things a little bit more i realize that many democrats are corrupt in one way or another and they are way to liberal. i know now that at the age of 17 i will more than likely be republican when i become a more registered voter i am sorry to say there are several people that were in my ag class that have gone democrat because of one issue (same sex marriage) we use to have political debates in that class quite often and yet they never had anything to back up what they were saying when defending something for the democrats i wish more people would wake up and hear more than one side of the story

I just forwarded this article to the Washington Post letters to the editor section - bet you 50 cents it doesn't get put in!

" .......i am sorry to say there are several people that were in my ag class that have gone democrat because of one issue (same sex marriage)...."

Charx, you can't be serious! That is very disturbing. Why in the world would that be such an important issue for people your age? And if it's like that in an ag class, it's hard to imagine how the average person in high school feels.

Am I really that out of touch with the real world? C'mon Charx. Please say it ain't so!!!

Yeah, I had to read it twice again, and I was wondering if I had been drinking to much. Then I realized I hadn't had a drink all day so I went and got one.
If that's what this country is coming to may God help us.

this girl could not figure out who she would vote for her first time around and there was another guy in the class said he was for same sex marriage(pretty much what he said she went with) and then soon after this girl started to say i hate george bush because he wont let same sex couples get married. this was soon after bush's support for a constitutional amendment to ban it. i THINK she was leaning towards democrat anyways but this i guess you could say shoved her into it. i know she was asking this guy to MAKE her like kerry because she did not like bush one day in class. she said that (about same sex marriage) mainly because she swings on both sides of the fence if you know what i mean. also this was just one girl and i am sure there are other people worse than her
we did not do much in our ag class and i usually started up the debates because i was bored. everybody else in my high school could care alot less. the only other place where i know they argue about politics and stuff is the "coffee shops" where farmers and some other people come around to sit around and talk in the mornings (mainly at the small quick stops)

texan i dont think it is as bad as you think or how i might have put it im sorry if i made it seem that way just one girl who goes on both sides of the fence and what i meant to say was in that quote was she is already a registered democrat but was definitly going to vote democrat after that issue. no questions asked.

"...there was another guy in the class said he was for same sex marriage..."

Okay. Well, not really okay. But, anyway. One guy, and then the girl that you know is AC/DC, or whatever, still sounds like too many to me in an ag class. I guess that I am out of touch. But thanks for trying to "straighten" me out. ;-)

And way to go on starting those debates! Keep trying to get the rest of 'em thinking.
