Cereal Rye variety

We have always planted Elbon, but am considering Maton II. It will cost me $4 more per hundred pounds but looks like about 1000 lbs more yield, especially more in the fall when I need it more. I am in East Texas. Anyone have experience with it??

The last few yrs I have used Cool Grazer Rye and have been pleased with it this yr I am using Forage master just cause it is available locally
