Caves in spring and fall

When is the best time to put a bull on cows and the best time to take the buul off the cows...Hope someone can help me out.. Thank You!!!!

When you want the cows to calve will determine when you put the bull in and take him out. If you want fall calves say starting Sept 1, you put the bull in Nov 23 (based on 283 day gestation).<p>If you want February calves put the bull with the cows on April 25. <p>The time of year you calve will depend on the weather, your facilities, your breed, grass conditions and or feed conditions.<p>You can calve any month of the year if you are set up for it.<p>Jason Trowbridge<br>Southern Angus Farms<br>Alberta Canada <br>
