Cattle Pregnancy Test

Each time we want to test the pregnancy of a cow we either have it done at the auction before they are sold or we have to call the vet out to do it. Either way is costly. Since home pregnancy tests for us humans have been around awhile, is there a similar "home pregnancy test" for cows?

It's claimed by some that the human preg tests work. The challenge would be getting the cow to pee in the test device.

>Check around with some of your area cattle ranchers and see if any of them have gone to school for it and if they or know of someone who does. This will save you lots of money. Where we live, there are several old time ranchers whove gone to the school and PG for $ 1 a head. One of our neighbors whos 19 just went to the school in Kansas and hes been following behind one of the oldtimers, I bet theyve PGd about 7000 head by now. But, check and see if anyone does it whos gone to the school.
