Ok... Anyone any ideas??

In front of our property on US 83 every day several EMPTY Cattle Pots go North and later some go South! What gives? Drivers practicing pulling trailers? Stealing trailers? Can't make up their mind which direction they want to go?

Next:

Every week BLADES of the wind farms windmills go South. Then, same week Blades go North. Can't the wind farms make up their minds whether or not they want blades or not? Or, the North bound blades sold to the South. The South bound blades sold to the North... Or, practicing hauling blades with 2 escort vehicles through small towns & traffic??

Am sure there is a "logical" or "business" reason for all this crazy hauling...

Is this a Democrat thing? A Republican thing? A Terrorist thing?

LOL!!

Blades have to be inspected and replaced all the time. Maybe they're sending the bad blades out and bringing in new blades on the return trip.

I see the same thing with vegetables. A truck of tomatoes going north and another going south. I can't figure it out.

I probably recommend to check the blades to ensure its quality. And of course the safety of the operators.

Trusses are the thing for me. Local truss factory will haul to Jeff City somewhere and meet different factories shipping our way.
Think they would talk to each other. gs

Use to see a lot of bulk milk trucks hauling raw milk going both directions. Never understood it.

OK...for all you non-livestock Yankees...lol!

A "Pot" is a semi-trailer that is double-decked with numerous side vent openings to keep cattle cool during transport. A Pot can haul probably 50 to 75 cattle, depending on size using both decks. Perhaps as many as 100 calves... Trailer may be up to 50 feet long...

Here in the middle.of all the hog confinement buildings it is hog trucks with packer hogs going in all directions depending on who has which contract. We see hogs going loaded going East North or West depending on where the current contract is best. But the feeder pigs coming in are from various owners and directions also. Such is commerce everyone trying for the least expensive inputs and the greatest return.

Bill you ever seen an old gal on the "pot" decide to take a pee while the rig is stopped at a red light?? Cars in the adjoining lane better move over. BTW you can get 42-44 mature holsteins in a pot. Don't know about other breeds.
