cattle diseases in the soil

Scenario: Former dairy farm in operation up until Dec. 2010. Was a dairy for at least 40 years that I know of. If you put beef cattle there any worries about cattle diseases still lurking besides Blackleg?

Anthrax lives in the soil ; Johnes will too especially in manure . Listeriosis lives in the soil too.

40 years sounds like it was a successful business ,I am thinking your beefers will be fine .
