I had All my family down to the farm. They asked what could they bring ? I said bring a bag of 20% cubes so the kids can feed the cows and play with the calves. They bought medicated purine cubes without me realizing it. They fed two bags in one pasture to about ten momma cows and ten calves. Will this actually deworm them.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure of content, they bought em and fed them. I was in other pasture at the rifle range with the guys.

Oh yes, it'll deworm them.

If they were safegard (lonestar makes some of them) I believe they come in two different 'strengths'. The one I've used is to be fed at 4lbs/1000 lb of body weight. Fenbendazole ............ 0.125%.

Seems like your family would have balked at the price of buying two big bags tho.
Those cost about $45/50lbs bag at my local feed store.

Yeah they paid $47.50 each. These are city folks didn't know the difference. I found the tag off one of the bags, Purina, safe-guard dewormer. Fenbendazole, 1000.00 g/ton
