Cattle and Wiring

Speaking of wiring, why are cattle so attract to electrical wiring? Not the electric wiring on fences but in tractors, wood splitters, other equipments..... Thanks y'alls....

My guess would be it's soft, loose and chewable. Like a licorice stick.

I think it has something to do with the current, they can hear it or feel it and we (humans) can't. Maybe like the way fireants are attracted to electricity.
