cattle and climate

Some friends and I are working on starting a ranch just outside of Belize. And I need to find out about climate affects on cattle. Is there any suggestion on the type of cattle that could be raised that far south and has a good quality meat?

Brahma cattle would be perfect for a climate that warm. they can stand the heat very well and are considered high quality cattle for beef.
