Cattle 12 12 ????

Last night, up all night, with a horse with colic. Cause was most likely dehydration. this horse just won't use a block. ( and yes, i should have been checking ) - any way, the vet suggested a mix of granulated trace minerals and "Cattle 12 12". I can not find any reference to this product on the net. Anyone know anything about this stuff?


btw, after a tubing and some drugs, my boy is doing better -

That is a cattle mineral mixture. very common around here, everyone uses it, they should have it at any feed store, farm supply, co-op, tracter supply.

The formula they are refering to is 12%each of salt calcium and phospherous.

Purina has a 12 12 mix.

Most feed stores should have it.
