Case 1594

Help Support CattleToday:

Skyhightree...enjoyed your thread and problem. I too am a big fan of jbweld...unfortunately in high temp vibration applications it'll probably just be a temporary fix. I'm going to go out on a limb and give you something better..something the old timers used successfully for cracked blocks leaking coolant...first clean surfaces and remove any old jbweld...fire-up and heat up some of the thickest tar you can find....jack tractor to level the crack and maximize the flow and settling of tar before you pour. My Father drove a Model-A ford with a cracked block for years with a tarred-up block, no coolant leak.
