Canadian EPD's vs American EPD's (Blk Angus)

How do Canadian black angus EPD's compare to American Angus EPD's.
Are they the same? Or is Canadian WW of 40 equal to American WW of say 43?

canadian numbers are discounted by 15%...not really, the Canadian black angus data has been processed by the AAA for several years so I would expect that their numbers are equivalent in value, the Canadian red angus cattle's data goes into the breedplan system in Australia.

Robert, the Canadian Black Angus breed values are also calculated by ABRI here in Oz. It appears that the only major breed organisation that does NOT use the ABRI model is the AAA and that is due to the slight variation involving intellectual ownership. AAA as an association owns the information while ABRI will crunch the numbers but the breeder owns the information.
