Help! I have a cow that is about to give birth. This is only our second calf and we're not sure when we should be worried and get the vet invovled. Her vulva has been engoreged for well over two weeks, her udders are three-quarters full and she is having a little trouble walking. Any suggestions?

<p><br>Is the cow doing any straining? Laying down and trying to push? Unless she's actually in labor, there probably isn't any point in calling a vet, unless you think she's sick. Look for toes to be out, or the water bag.
