We assume that if there isn't anything hanging out that she has passed everything. May be the wrong assumption in some cases but it's stood us in good stead gor 30 plus years. It's not unusaul for a heifer to not want a whole hell of a lot to do with a calf after a hard pull. Don't know why, maybe they blame the calf for their misery.

I think my heifer/cow (who also happens to be my namesake since she was born on my birthday) takes more after me than most of us want to agree to. I bow to your expertise and from what I am observing, I agree with you. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, or so they say, eh?
