Trying to put some fast weight on my calves that I weaned about a month ago. Probably will be selling them within a month. They have access to a 3 ton creep feeder. They have been gaining quite rapidly, but my question is when are they considered too fleshy and will start hurting me at the market? What is the most #lbs per head per day do you think would keep them from getting too fleshy. They all ready are getting pretty big. Thanks for any help. All comments will be appreciated.
