One of my cows calved two weeks ago and today we noticed a thick white goo on her back side. Calf has been nursing with no issues although it does look like her bag is staying some what full while the other cows that calved same time are getting empty after feeding. Do I need to be concerned about the white goo? Could this be an infection?

need more info
Is the goo on her back from the tail swishing or from her back end
Is the calf getting enough do you think and she has alot of milk?
Is the milk what has the goo in it?

the goo is on her tail in similar place if she had scours so I'm thinking it is a discharge of some kind. Calf is still nursing and has begun eating some hay. He has high energy too and appears healthy.

well, we think so. she delivered in middle of the night two weeks monday. it is pretty white and there is no smell. I just didn't think it would take that long. This is my first experincing with calving.

The cleaning process can take several weeks. Frequently there may be pink or old bloody looking stuff mixed in with all of the gunk.
Sounds pretty much to me like she's finishing up the final part of the cleaning process.
